Health screening
- We will ask you screening questions.
- We will take a non-contact temperature of everyone as they enter.
- Those who are flagged by screening (100.4) will be asked to reschedule. Thank you for your understanding.
- If you have traveled to a state that has seen a recent surge in infections and has been identified by NYS as a state that requires a 2 week self-quarantine, as defined here: https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory , NYS Health laws requires that you must reschedule your appointment for after your quarantine ends as we will not allow entry to our facility.
- Appointment times will be 40 minutes apart. We are happy to examine families 2 at a time only.
- Please check into your appointment from your vehicle by calling 718-979-2020 or by ringing the bottome doorbell or knocking on our window.
- Multiple patients in the office will be avoided if possible. In the rare times that there are multiple patients in the office, we ask that social distancing by maintained as much as possible.
- Glasses and contacts can be picked up at our window or be shipped to you.
- Equipment will have additional guards as necessary to protect you and staff.
- All patients will be asked and required to wear a mask to their appointment
- All patients will be asked to leave their personal belongings in their car.
- All examination, lab equipment, and surfaces will be sanitized immediately between patients.
- Frames that are tried on will be sanitized before being displayed again.
